On May the 4th we had the honor of hosting the very first SSU Lab, Successful Sales Strategies and Stories, during which we heard sales pipeline management tips and tricks from an expert panel. We loved hearing from Jeff King, President of The Pest Rangers, Steve Martinko, Owner of Banner Sales And Consulting and CEO  at Contenders Tree & Lawn Specialist’s, Inc., and Eric Scherzinger VP of Procurement & Marketing at Scherzinger Pest Control about how ServSuite has helped them build sustainable growth.

From the topic of how technology increases sales efficiency to tips for boosting sales during the winter months, our seasoned panel had a lot to say about how to manage a thriving sales pipeline. When discussing the central role pest control software has played in growing The Pest Rangers, Jeff King said “Without the use of technology we wouldn’t be where we’re at today.” and went on to explain how automating daily office tasks allowed him to focus on providing quality services to his customer base.

Ensuring that your whole team is equipped with everything they need to keep your customers happy is essential. From marking sure that your technicians are tooled up for service success to using technology to keep your customers in the loop about their services, all three panelists were keen to stress the importance of this. Steve Martinko noted “We really focus on customer service. If we keep our responsiveness going great, we have no problems with sales.” ServSuite offers a range of tools that help business owners and their teams deliver excellent customer service day in, day out.

When discussing how they manage their sales pipeline Eric Scherzinger stressed the need for a range of pest control software tools to maximize productivity across the board “It’s not just ServSales, to talk about GPS and Routing has helped tremendously, our techs are now more efficient.”

The panel also discussed the importance of technology when staying connected with their customers and shared the range of touchpoints they leverage to do so. From YouTube videos to investing in SEO to the benefits of the ServSuite Smart Branding service, the panelists talked about how technology is key to keeping in touch with their customer base throughout the year.

Next month we will be taking a deep dive into the technician experience. At the next SSU Lab, Technicians and Technology, we will hear from customers about how technology has transformed their workflow, and hear their tips for overcoming challenges. The event will take place on Zoom, on June 9th at 2 PM EST. Don’t worry if you can’t make it to the live event, the recording will be available to watch online until 2022.
